Chiarello Family Vineyards conducts private wine tastings and experiences mostly at the V Marketplace grounds in the heart of Yountville California, where Bottega Restaurant and NapaStyle are situated. Tastings are usually Thursdays through Sundays, by appointment. In certain circumstances, we accommodate tastings requests for other days and/or venues throughout Napa Valley and beyond. Brandon St.Martin is the winery sommelier and host for all four levels of tasting options:
PRESTO: 30 minutes; a quick wine chat and the Chiarello Vineyards history. The experience involved purchasing three "quartinos" (6.25oz carafes) at Bottega restaurant, which may be portioned out equally amongst 1-4 patrons. Brandon joins the party on Bottega's Terrazzo for a concise but lively analysis of the wines.
PREGO: 60 minutes; a wine conversation over four wines and nibbles. The Prego is $60 per person and affords a private grounds tour, demonstration of four reserve Chiarello wines, along with small food pairings. Insight: this is a perfect prelude to a larger culinary experience at Bottega or NapaStyle. This is a very popular option.
TOTALE: 90 minutes; a portfolio tasting of six Chiarello wines with elegant food pairings. The Totale is $120 per person; a luxurious way to enjoy private attention in a relaxed, unrushed format. This allows for deeper exploration of Chiarello wines and Napa Valley.
ALFRESCO: 120 minutes; This is a private vineyard wine and culinary experience for usually 4 to 10 persons at the Chiarello family estate and vineyards. Alternatively, our Howell Mountain winery may serve as a venue option. Please inquire with Brandon.
