Its full of classic dark red fruit & spice, for a very full-bodied mid-palate. The finely delineated core of cherry and blackberry is followed by an elegant finish. Pair it with Pesto-Rolled Filet and Delphina Potatoes.

The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Eileen shows more focus and length than the Bambino. Sweet spices, grilled herbs, blackberries and tobacco are some of the notes that flow from this Cabernet Sauvignon. This is a beautiful, explosive Cabernet to drink over the next few years. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2017.
Winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown crafts these wines for Michael Chiarello, who is best known as the chef and owner of Bottega in Yountville. These are decidedly flashy, ripe Cabernets.
